Indira Gandhi Rashtriya Uran Akademi (IGRUA), Fursatganj Airfield, Raebareli, Uttar Pradesh is an autonomous body under the Ministry of Civil Aviation, Govt of India. It is the pioneer flying training institution in the country, offering Ab-initio to CPL (Commercial Pilot License) Course for issue of CPL with Multi engine endorsement and Instrument Rating (IR) on Multiengine aircraft.

CPL Training and BSc (Aviation) Degree : CPL (Commercial Pilot License) training (24 months duration). Candidates can also opt for B.Sc (Aviation) Degree from Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Avadh University (RMLAU), Faizabad, UP, simultaneously with CPL training (only 40 seats in BSc course). Duration of B.Sc course will be 3 years.

Last date of application : 9 May 2024

Online Written Test : 3 Jun 2024

Shortlisted candidates in Final Merit shall be inducted in FOUR batches starting Sep 2024 onwards.

Fee (excluding Boarding & Lodging) : Rs. 45 Lacs payable in four quarterly installments in one year. Type training expense is an additional Rs17 / Rs.19 Lacs depending on the aircraft type.

Additional expenditure for about Rs.2.5 Lacs towards cost of Uniform, Navigation Computer, Head Phones etc. The training fee and other expenditure is same for all category candidates.

For admission, It is mandatory to have studies English, Mathematics and Physics in 10+2.
